  I came into the store this afternoon to enquire a query regarding my recently changed without my authority, prepaid plan and was met by 'Martin' with a genuine warm welcome and helpful smile. After explaining my reason for coming in - to have clarification on my pre-paid service and how to best manage for my individual needs given the change which was thrust upon my by Telstra for which I was given no choice after being on the same pre-paid plan for over 20 years, Martin was extremely patient and actively listened to my numerous and varied queries whilst endeavouring to calm my anxiety and reassure me he would try to explain these changes and how best to manage these now challenges put before me. Martin demonstrated what I believe to be 'exemplary' customer service given that I, being a mature age, IT to date illiterate non-savvy person, was somewhat confused about how best to utilise my new pre-paid plan which Telstra recently changed me onto from a previous one I had held for over 20 years. Martin took the time to calm my concerns, explaining what I was entitled to including giving me informed choice about current and future needs depending on my lifestyle choice at any given time. For this, I am truly grateful to Martin to be I believe, the first Telstra employee I have dealt with over my 20 plus year period as a loyal and dedicated customer, to have genuinely had my best interests first and foremost at hand. I congratulate Martin for this and believe Telstra have been fortunate enough to gain such a rare and valuable commodity in an employee. Keep up the good customer service work Martin. I truly thank you and I wish you all the best in your future endeavours!
